Bernard Kohn

Bernard M. Kohn, 79, of Chillicothe, died at 10:10pm on January 26, 2022, at his residence following an extended illness.   He was born September 13, 1942, in Ross Co., OH to the late Charles and Ethel (Brown) Kohn.  On October 13, 1968, he married the former Betty L. Howard, who survives.   Also surviving are his children: Scottie (Vicki) Kohn, of Chillicothe, Crystal (Mark) Ratliff, of Piketon, Butchie (Jeny) Kohn, of Waverly, and Cana (Josh) Horner, of Chillicothe; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren with 2 additional expected this year; and 2 sisters.  He was predeceased by his parents; a son Mark Kohn; grandchildren Adam Kohn and Amanda Kohn; 1 brother; and 3 sisters.   Mr. Kohn had worked for 21 years at the Mead Paper Co. and New Page as a machine operator until his retirement.  He enjoyed camping, fishing and being with his family.   At his request, there will be no services.
