Becky Lynn Johnson, 57, of Chillicothe, passed away peacefully into the hands of the Lord at 3:30pm on Friday, September 17, 2021 at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, following a brief illness.
She was born September 6, 1964 in Chillicothe, daughter of the late Donald and Regeana Shewalter. On March 21, 1999 she married the love of her life, Randy Johnson, who preceded her in death on September 13, 2021.
"Aunt Becky" was the most beautiful soul. She was kind, humble, and generous. Her creativity was just as incredible as she was. She loved sewing, building Snowbees, making decorations, and sharing her love for crafting with the little ladies in her life. Becky was selfless and would go out of her way to help anyone at any time. Her laughter and smile were contagious. Becky loved to travel, play cards, spend time with family and friends at Long's Retreat and at their home on Johnson Mountain.
Becky is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Derrik and Heather Willett; daughter, Brandie Johnson; granddaughters, Grace and Emma Willett; brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Melony Shewalter; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Laura Shewalter; Tina Burgados; nieces, Kristin Shewalter, Tasha (Steve) Leist, Taylor (Austin) Dyer, Leslie (Joe) Kolasinski, Claire Shewalter, Samantha (Blake) Kellough; nephews, Lance Shewalter, Nick Shewalter, Matthew Johnson; Aunts, Deana (John) Bell; Thelma (Jim) May, Ann (Jerry) Walsh, Pat Penrod, Alice Stotridge, Phyllis Hurless; Uncles, Garrett (Pat) Shoemaker, Paul (Naomi) Shoemaker, Mike (Sherri) Shewalter; best friends, Mike and Lacey Long, (goddaughter) Tenleigh Long; many camp family members; and dozens of close friends.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
