Bart Allen Kinney, age 67, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away on September 9, 2025. He was born in Chillicothe on August 25, 1958, to the late Janice Kinney and Albert White.
Bart was an avid sports fan who loved cheering for the Dallas Cowboys and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He also enjoyed listening to his favorite music, and above all, he treasured time spent with his family and friends. Bart will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and generosity. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Kinney; father, Albert White; grandmother, Mabel Kinney; grandfather, Harold Kinney; uncles Darius, Robbie, Craig, Kim, and Jamie Kinney; and aunts Melba Harewood, Talissa Kendall, and Cynthia Kinney.
Bart leaves to cherish his memory: his brothers Brett (Karla) Kinney of Michigan, and David Kinney of Chillicothe; aunt Carol Kinney; uncle Mike Kinney; and a very special, loving uncle, Harold "Pete" Kinney Jr., all of Chillicothe. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Bart's life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Emmanuel Tabernacle Church, 293 Mechanic Street followed by a Repast at the BIC Building, 261 Mechanic Street. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 12:00 pm to 1:00pm.
