Barbara Renner

Barbara J. “Bobbie” Renner, 89, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 20, 1936, in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Christopher and Bernice Milstead. On March 24, 1954, she married John “Jack” Renner, and they spent 56 years together building a family full of love; he preceded her in death on August 27, 2010.

Also surviving are children, Debbie (Bob) Banks, Keith Renner, Denise (Mark) Flynn, John (Holly) Renner, Clark (Diane) Renner, Mike Renner, Frank (Cristy) Renner; 27 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and many friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters; daughter-in-law Jeri (Manion) Renner and grandson Jeremy Flynn.

She enjoyed volunteering at Adena Regional Medical Center and the Chillicothe Food Pantry, going to the beach and was an active member of Real Joy Community Fellowship. Bobbie was the best mom and grandma and would do anything for her family. She is loved by so many and will be deeply missed. A special thank you to her caregiver, Grace York with Adena Hospice.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at Real Joy Community Fellowship on Saturday, May 23 with visitation to begin at 1:00 and service will be at 2:30 with Pastor Tony Lambert officiating.
