On December 16, 2024, Barbara Ann "Honey" Poe went home to be with the Lord. She was surrounded by her loved ones.
Barbara was born on August 21, 1940. She was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Virgil Ray "Sam" Poe; and an uncle Harry Waldren and grandma-mom Gertrude Waldren, who raised her as their own.
Barbara is survived by her children: Rhonda (Chuckie) Good, of Chillicothe; Bryan (Annette) Clagg, of Southport, NC; and Barry Clagg; grandchildren: Bryan Clagg II, Bruce (Katrina) Clagg, Maleena Good, Tyler (Hannah) Good, and Travis (Veronica) Good; great-grandchildren: Allyssah Clagg Sovocool, Bruce Clagg II, Xander Clagg, Harper Good, Olivia Good, and Owen Good; great-great-grandchildren: Kohen Sovocool, Presley Sovocool and Annah Wininger; and many special friends including Marty Biddle, Carolyn Lizak, Donna Simpson and Patricia Fox.
Barbara's joy in life was her family. She loved having the family gather at her home for dinner and holidays. She enjoyed her job as a beautician. Over the years, she built many strong relationships with other stylists and her clients. Barbara had an enormous heart that knew no bounds, especially when it came to her family and friends. She was loved for her sassy and forthright personality. She will be deeply missed by many.
At her request, graveside inurnment services will be held at 11am Monday, Dec. 23, in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. Her online guestbook is available at www.HallerFuneralHome.com
