Barbara Joseph

Barbara Sue Joseph, 79, of Chillicothe, died 1:53 pm, February 6, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, following a brief illness.   She was born May 15, 1938 in Weston, WV to the late Lawrence and Kathleen Calvert Skinner. On March 18, 1962 she married James Joseph, who survives. Also surviving are her children, Allison Joseph, Chillicothe and Stephen (Julie) Joseph, Dallas TX; four grandchildren, Nathaniel Freeman, Alyssa (Dustin) Farmer, Stephanie Joseph and Jennifer Joseph; a great-grandchild, Allanah Farmer; a brother, James Skinner, Weston, WV; and a nephew, Lawrence Skinner III. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Skinner II.   Mrs. Joseph retired after over twenty years with the JCPenney Company as a cosmetic and fine jewelry consultant. She enjoyed gardening, genealogy, painting and playing the piano. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.   Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Saturday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
