In Loving Memory of Barbara Herman (Woodfork), a cherished soul who embodied kindness, hard work and unwavering faith. She selflessly gave to others, always putting her family's needs above her own. Her nurturing spirit created a haven of love leaving a lasting mark on all fortunate enough to know her. Today, we remember and celebrate a life well lived, filled with compassion and dedication. After a lifetime of being a full-time caregiver to numerous family members she worked at the Big Brother Big Sister organization for 17 years before she retired. May her legacy of love continue to inspire us all.
Barbara was proceeded in death by her parents Martin and Opal (Johnson) Woodfork, Daughter, Theresa Anderson (Woodfork), Sisters: Charlene "Pud" Maughmer, Charlotte Woodfork, Brothers: Doug Woodfork, Martin "Bud" Woodfork Jr.
Barbara is survived by her daughter Lorna Kelly (Irving Kelly), sister Donna Vandermark (Melvin Vandermark), Brother Gary Woodfork, Grandchildren: Angela Anderson-Moye, Brian Anderson (Tina Anderson, Jennifer Nelson (Joseph Nelson II), James Scott. Great Grandchildren: Torrie Hatton, Asia Anderson-Cross (Christian Cross), Korsahnlai Moye, Anthony Johnson, Justin Johnson, Ajah Johnson, Leah Anderson, Darrius Scott, Elias Anderson, Zaiden Medary, two special nieces Dena Woodfork and Brenda Brown, and several great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Haller Funeral Home, 1661 Western Ave, Chillicothe on Saturday February 17, 2024 from 11am to 1pm. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00pm with Bishop Maughmer officiating followed by burial at Greenlawn Cemetery.
