Barbara Farmer

Barbara L. "Bobby" Jordan Kight Farmer, 67, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2008, at her residence following an extended illness. At her request, there will be no services or visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home. Bobby was born December 24, 1940, in Clark Co., OH to the late Ralph and Loraine Knapper Jordan. She was the widow of the late Lazarus Farmer. Bobby is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Laura (Paul, Sr.) Zickafoose, of Chillicothe; grandchildren Sarah (Matthew) Fisher, Galloway, OH; Rebecca (John) Manis, Chillicothe; and Paul Zickafoose, Jr., of Pike Co., OH; great-grandchildren Wesley and Kaitlyn Manis; one brother; one sister; 3 half-brothers; 3 half-sisters; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, including a special cousin Donnie Jordan; numerous friends including special friends Linda Howard Yates, Sandra Payne, Mary Daniels, and Sam Jordan. She was predeceased by her parents; one brother, one sister; and by Roscoe "Shorty" (Sadie) Jones, of Xenia, who raised her. The family would like to acknowledge and give special thanks to her caregivers who were there in her final moments. Bobby attended Mt. Tabor Church when her health permitted. She enjoyed drawing, sewing and playing many musical instruments.
