Barbara Connolly

Barbara Anne Bunch Connolly, born June 26, 1952, passed away the evening of Friday, May 16, 2014, surrounded by loved ones, after a six month battle with cancer. Barb was a gregarious and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She enjoyed living life to the fullest while residing in Ohio, Michigan and Florida, always getting involved in her community. While an active member in Business Professional Women, Barbara was named Member of the Year in 2003. Additionally, she was involved in the Venice Power Squadron, and discovered an unfounded love for playing in two hand bell choirs, Gulf Coast Ringers and Epiphany Bell Choir. With an MBA and accomplished career in banking, Barbara's true passion was to always put a smile on people's faces. She loved traveling with her family across the country and overseas and enjoyed spending time with her two beautiful grandchildren. Barbara is survived by her mother, Marjory Bunch, mother-in-law, Rosemarie; her husband, Kevin; children, Keith and his wife Lauren and Kristen and fiancé Matthew Smith; grandchildren, Kora and Liam; her siblings, Thomas Bunch, Mary Ellen Warner, and Theresa Jennings and their families. She is predeceased by her father, Booker Bunch and father-in-law, Paul. Given Barbara's passion for playing bells, in lieu of flowers please send donations for the Bell Choir to Epiphany Cathedral, 350 Tampa Ave W, Venice, FL 34285, in memory of Barbara Connolly. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Friday, at St. Peter Church, Rev. William Hahn, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery.
