Barbara Chaney

Barbara A. Chaney, 77, of Chillicothe, died 11:30 am, April 7, 2014, at her residence, following a brief illness.   She was born May 13, 1936 to the late Arthur and Emma Fannon Lane.   She married Billy Chaney, who died January 31, 2009.   Survivors include seven children, Barbara (Ronnie) Yoakum, Bourneville, Rhonda (Mike) Bailey, Franklin, OH, Howard (Betsy Bray) Stewart, Bourneville, Juanita Stewart, Joey Stewart, Stephanie (Billy) Yoakum and Penny Santos, all of Chillicothe; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; two brothers, Sam (Molly) Lane, Alabama and Steve Lane, Chillicothe; two sisters, Jacqueline (Bob) Hill, Chillicothe and Diane (Allen) Bush, Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by three sisters, Tammy Lane, Wanda Algeo and Jane Pollock.   Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Friday at the Haller Funeral Home, Elder Garrett "Skip" Stewart officiating.   Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery.   Friends may call 11-1 Friday at Haller's.
