B. Thompson

Bert Theodore "Ted" Thompson, 69, passed away on December 29, 2021, peacefully at his home in Chillicothe.    Ted was a kind and loving brother, son and uncle.  He will be sadly missed.  His youthful outlook on life and his passion for board games made him the favorite babysitter for his nephews.  He took pride in teaching them strategies to win both at games and in life.  His fair and measured approach made him a great teacher.  Ted also enjoyed fantasy sports games and science fiction, always paying attention to the smallest details.   Ted is survived by his brother William "Tom" Thompson, of Chillicothe; sisters: Barb (Casey) Philibert, of Labelle, FL, Mary Willis, of Minford, OH, Betty (Frank) Bucy (children Mary, Francis, Frank, Jr., and Crystel) of Waverly; and nephews Andrew (Jonathan) Marcos-Priest, of Long Beach, CA, and Jeromy Thompson, of San Antonio, TX.  He was predeceased by his parents William Thompson and Regina Miller, both of Chillicothe; and a brother Ralph Miller, also of Chillicothe.   A memorial service and celebration will take place at a later time.
