Averie Kinney

Averie S. Kinney, 13, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly at 5:51pm July 25, 2022, in Adena Regional Medical Center ER.   He was born August 6, 2008, in Chillicothe, and was in the seventh grade attending the Pioneer School.   He is survived by his mother Amie Y. Kinney, of Chillicothe; his two fathers: Jason Lytle of Chillicothe and Ezana (Shelley) Boston, of Columbus; brothers Craig Kinney Thompson, Jason Lytle II, Jayden Lytle, as well as 11 additional brothers and 7 sisters; his maternal grandparents Carol Kinney, Uvette Barnett and Thaddeus Bates; and paternal grandmother Marchella Boston; as well as numerous aunts and uncles.  He was predeceased by paternal grandparents Robert (Beatrice) Lyte, and Tyrone Hawkins; and maternal grandparents Timothy Sewards, David Gibson and Garry Barnett, Sr.   His funeral service will be held 1pm Tuesday, August 2, at Zion Baptist Church, 84 S. Clinton Rd., Chillicothe, Minister Jemar Harris Eulogist.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11am until 1pm Tuesday at the church.
