Arthur Jones

Arthur Jason "Art" Jones, 69, of North Fort Myers, FL, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010 while golfing. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 PM Monday April 5, 2010 at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington by Dr. David B. Lemming & Father Jim Sobus. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. Art was born April 14, 1940 in Nuttalburg, WV, a son of the late Glen & Lillian Evans Jones. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a graduate of Huntington East High School and Marshall University. Art was a retired high school educator, football coach and horse trainer/driver in Ohio. He was an enthusiastic sports fan who was partial to Chesapeake, London, Middletown, & Chillicothe high schools, Marshall Thundering Herd, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Art is survived by his wife Barbara Kidwell Jones:, sister Patsy (Charlie) Johnson of Huntington and numerous loving relatives and friends. Art enjoyed life, and lived it to its fullest. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a favorite charity. Friends may call after 11:30 AM Monday at Chapman's.
