Arthur Fonzo Blair, 77, of Londonderry, passed away Friday evening, October 21, 2022, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness.
He was born October 5, 1945, in Paintsville, Kentucky, son of the late John and Florence (Dale) Blair. On April 16, 1969, he married his beloved wife, Christy Anne (Myers) Blair, who survives.
Also surviving are two children, Robert (Michelle) Blair, and John (Michelle) Blair; grandchildren, Hayle Blair, Garett (Shania) Blair, John Taylor Blair and Christy Blair; 1 great-grandchild on the way; four sisters, Margaret, Susie, Sharon, and Barbara; a brother, Scott; and his step-mother, Louise. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Wayne Blair; and two brothers, Jimmy and Oscar.
Art worked as an Equipment Operator for many years before retiring. He was a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2227, the Moose Lodge 2263, and the American Legion Post 142.
In accordance with his wishes, private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
