Arthur Anderson

Arthur J. "Andy" Anderson, 81, of Frankfort, died September 30, 2015, at Adena Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness. He was born August 18, 1934, in Bloomington, IL, to the late Paul L. and Edna M. (Settles) Anderson. On May 18, 1967, he married the former Barbara Jean Sundermeyer, who preceded him in death on March 3, 2007. Surviving are his sons: Steve (Heather) Anderson, Chillicothe; Greg Burns and Michael Burns, both of Dayton, OH; grandchildren: Brookelynn Ratcliff, Autumn Newberry, Ammie Rauseo and Jason Burns. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a son Gary Burns. Mr. Anderson retired from US Air Force following 22 years of service. He then worked at Wright Patterson AFB and then retired as head of maintenance from the Chillicothe VAMC. Cremation services will be held under the direction of Haller Funeral Home and Crematory. At his request, there will be no public services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Haller Funeral Home.
