Arnold S. Bee, 71, of Chillicothe, died 7:30 am, Thursday, December 09, 2010, at his home, following an extended illness. He was born July 18, 1939 in Ross Co. to the late Arlie S. and Hattie Black Bee. He married the former Kathryn "Katie" A. Phillips, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Sheri L. (Andrea Pettit) Bee, Jon A. (Kelly) Bee, Rhonda (John) Crowe and Eric (Erica) S. Bee, all of Chillicothe; eight grandchildren, Kelly, Whitney, Andrew, Levi, Trent, Mackenzie, Kennedy and Reghan; one great-grandchild, Baily Jo; a sister, Sara B. Gay; several nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Jacqueline (Dorsey) True, of Chillicothe; a brother-in-law, Charles (Georgia) Phillips, of St. Louis, MO; and special friends Mary and Mark Gazarek, of Findlay, OH. He was preceded in death by a brother, George F. Bee. Mr. Bee was a US Army Veteran and retired from DuPont as a supervisor in 1996. He was a graduate of Kingston High School. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, the American Legion Post 62 and the VFW Post 108. He was an avid Sprint Car race fan. Due to renovations at St. Peter Church, Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am, Monday at St. Mary Church, Rev. William Hahn, Celebrant. Military graveside services, conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends may call 4-7 pm Sunday at the Haller Funeral Home, where a Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Traditions of Chillicothe, In Care Hospice, 142 University Dr., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
