Arlie Scott

Arlie Scott, 86, of Chillicothe, died Monday, November 21, 2011 at the Cleveland Clinic, following a brief illness. He was born November 1, 1925 in Omega, OH to the late Sylvester A. and Marie Stanley Scott. On April 11, 1965 he married Delores M. Gilbert Scott, who survives. Also surviving are two sisters, Patricia (Robert) Placier and Katie (Jack) Sullivan, both of Chillicothe. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Julia Hasgen. Mr. Scott retired as secretary for the American Association of Railroads. He had also worked as an inspector for the N & W Railroad. He was a member of the The Gideons International and volunteered for the Adena Health System's Lifeline program. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at Chillicothe Baptist Church, Rev. John Burris officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
