Anthony Johnson

Anthony "Andy" Wayne Johnson, 48, of Chillicothe, was called home surrounded by his loving family at 8:43pm on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, following a brief illness. He was born in Chillicothe on August 30, 1967, to Lloyd Franklin and Shirley Ann (Caplinger) Johnson. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Chanelle (R.J. Shiltz II) Johnson, of Washington C.H.; two grandchildren, Braxton and S.J.; a brother, Steve (Jackie) Johnson, of Chillicothe, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; the mother of his children, Anddrea Downing, his close friend, Philip Whitley, and his dog, Corkey. Andy was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathrine Johnson; a brother, David Johnson; his Grandparents, Lloyd (Ruth) Johnson, and Howard (Dorothy) Caplinger; and his best friend, Jody Gragg. Andy loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing and gardening. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Plug Run Church CCU, 1586 Mingo Rd. Chillicothe, OH, with Pastor Marhoover officiating.
