C. Anthony Allen passed suddenly on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at his home in Chillicothe. Anthony was born in Groton, Connecticut on October 20, 1959, to Charles and Mary (Sherrick) Allen and married Glenda (Holton) Allen on September 1, 1978.
He is survived by his wife Glenda; children, Brandy (Ray) Newsome, and Joshua Allen Sr.; grandchildren, Joshua (Elizabeth McFadden), Luken (Ciera Dawson), Tarrin, Keegan, Jade, and Vincent; sister, Annette (Joe Shoemaker) Allen; and niece, Bridget (Dan) Culter. He will be sadly missed by his many family and friends.
Anthony is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Allen.
He had a passion for the outdoors, where you could often find him fishing, going on walks, and hunting for ginseng.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, June, 2, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Little Mound Cemetery in Richmond Dale.
Donations to the Haller Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses would be appreciated by the family.
