Anne Nelson

Anne Marie Nelson, 51, of Frankfort, died at 8:12am Wednesday, March 19, 2014, in her home following an extended illness.   She was born December 2, 1962, in Chillicothe, to the late Roy L. and Rowena (Whitaker) Compher. On April 20, 1998, she married Douglas E. Nelson, who survives.   Also surviving are her daughters Elizabeth (Tari) Myers, Frankfort; Stephanie Michael, Lafayette, LA; Adrianna Nelson, Frankfort; step-sons Richard Nelson, Pittsburgh, PA; Billy (Kristi) Nelson, Greenup, KY; grandchildren: Jamie, Kahne, Zander, Kiersten, Andrew, William and Ian; step-granddaughter Riley; sisters and brothers-in-law Martha Elaine (James) Hatfield, Greenfield; Cynthia (Richard) Hurtt, Chillicothe; brothers and sisters-in-law Ronald (Theresa) Compher, Frankfort; Paul (Nancy) Compher, Knoxville, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews, including special nieces Sara Rice, Knoxville, TN; and Donna Knorr, Ocala, FL. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother James Compher.   Anne was a graduate of Paint Valley High School, Class of 1981.   A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, March 22, at Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Stollins officiating.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Haller Funeral Home.
