Anna Lewis

On February 24th 2007 our Mother, Anna Sue Lewis, 64, of Chillicothe, went to be with her Lord and Savior. She has a large family that will miss and cherish her forever. Surviving her is her husband of 44 years, Joe Lewis; Sons: Tom and Benjamin (Amanda) Lewis. Daughters: Melody (Leroy) Haskins, Sarah Lewis, Laura Lewis fiancé (Terry Timmons), Rose (John) Smith, Misty (Jason) Uhrig; an adopted daughter Wendy Atkins. She has 16 grandchildren whom she adored, Amber, Lee, Angela, Andrea, CJ, Christian, Hayley, Jesse, Luke, Brittany, Mikey, McKenzie and Jasey and great-grandchildren: Kearra, Joey and Treyton. Also surviving is her mother, Tellie Yonts; eight brothers; four sisters; several aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her father Autry McCray; brothers Autry Jr, Denny, Bennie and Bill McCray; and her sister Eva "May" Parks. Thank you mom for teaching us your faith, values and beliefs. For showing us what true unconditional love of a mother is. Till we meet again you will forever be in our hearts and lives. Your loving children. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday in the Happy Valley Church, with Roy Carver officiating. Burial will follow in Huntington Township Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Wednesday in the Haller Funeral Home.
