Anna Judy

Anna Judy, 84, of Chillicothe, departed this life to be with her Lord on Thursday afternoon, May 17, 2012 in the Adena Hospital, following an extended illness. She was born June 18, 1927 in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late William McKinley "M.C." and Tealie Montgomery Tackett. She is survived by a daughter, Janet Barnes, of Chillicothe; 3 sons and 2 daughters-in-law, Jerry C. and Pat Howard, of Reynoldsburg, Terry L. Howard, and Gary N. and Cheryl Howard, all of Chillicothe; 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; sisters Georgia Graves, Jenny Jenkins, and Louise (Bob) Weaver, one brother Wendell (Sharon) Tackett. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Abe Bentley, Curtis Howard, and Frank Judy; a son, Larry R Howard; a grand-son Patrick Howard; brothers, Stanley and William "Bill" Tackett; a sister, Mintie Stevens; and a son-in-law, Lawrence Barnes. Anna loved the Lord and was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and loved by all who knew her. She had attended the First Freewill Baptist Church and the Ross County Senior Citizens. She enjoyed attending the Tuesday family meeting at McDonalds and visiting her friend Nola Howard. She will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the HALLER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Mitchell Salyers officiating. Burial will follow in Caldwell Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday.
