Anna Jordan

Anna D. Jordan Anna D. Jordan, 85, of Piketon, died 5:40 am, Friday, December 16, 2005 in the Pike Community Hospital, following an extended illness. She was born June 8, 1920 in Wayne, WV to Thomas and Mary Martin Woodall. On December 27, 1941 she married Millard C. Jordan, who was killed during World War II, in December of 1944. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Hoffman, of North Carolina; grandchildren, Paul (Beth) Hoffman, of Marion, OH, Kathy Baldetti, of North Carolina, and Daniel (Susan) Jordan, of Chillicothe; seven great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and other "family" members, Opal Boyer, Pauline (Dave) McCullough, Nellie (John) Jenkins, Edith (Keith)Park, Donna (Dale) Pate, Paul Boyer, Trudy (Greg) McCullough, all of Chillicothe, Gladys (Woody) Coey, of Kingston, and Reba (Jeff) Mitchell of Frankfort; and a special friend, Lisa Stanley. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a daughter, Janet Jordan, and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Jordan often visited the Yellow Bud Church of Jesus Christ when in town. Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Monday, December 19, 2005 in the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. Ray Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow in Hallsville Cemetery. Friends may call 4-6 pm Sunday at Haller's.
