Ann Counts

Ann L. Counts, 83, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly at 12:14pm, Saturday, December 20, 2008, in Adena Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday in the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Schmidt officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 1-2pm Tuesday at Haller Funeral Home. Ann was born October 16, 1925, in Waverly, OH, to the late Wesley Albert and Opal Young Cool. On October 8, 1955, she married Charles J. Counts, who preceded her in death on February 5, 2008. Surviving are her nephew Curtis Charles Cool; great-niece Crystal Ann Cool; great-nephews Mitchell Adam Cool and Adam Wesley Cool, all of Chillicothe; niece Julie (Jay) Panas, Springfield, TN; great-niece Rachel and great-nephew Jacob Panas; and a special friend Shirley Whaley, of Branchland, WV. She was predeceased by her only brother, Samuel Wesley Cool. She graduated from Waverly High School, Class of 1943, as an honor student. She retired from RCA Circleville in 1988. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Awana Program, a teacher with the Bible Time Adventure Children's Church, and served as a member of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army.
