Ann M. (VanVliet) Albrecht, 90, of Chillicothe, died September 14, 2022, peacefully, at home.
She was born February 14, 1932 in Washington D.C., to the late Edward W. and Mildred H. Hanson McPherson. On August 6, 1979 she married Dr. H. Robert Albrecht, who preceded her in death on December 24, 2000. Survivors include two daughters, Lisa A. (Stephen) Coppel and Jennifer L. (Jack) Gordon; a step-son, John Albrecht; three grandchildren: Christopher (Annette) Coppel, Luke Meehan, and Madison Coppel; and a brother, David H. McPherson.
Mrs. Albrecht spent thirty years in education as a teacher, primarily in the Chillicothe City Schools, and at Ohio University-Chillicothe.
Following cremation, interment will be held in Grandview Cemetery. There will be no public services.
