Anita Harris

July 27, 1950 — May 25, 2021

Anita G. Harris, 70, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, May 25, 2021 at her home.

She was born July 27, 1950, in Southington, Ohio, daughter of the late Carl and Gloria (Hodges) Kreusler. On January 8, 1990, she married Larry S. Harris, and together they shared over 31 years of marriage.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her three children, Lisa (Justin) Wilcox, Holly (Jeff) Moody, and Ben (Jessica) Harris; her granddaughter, Olivia Wilcox; three siblings, Judi McCausland, Bill (Evelyn) Kreusler, and Martha (Rick) Griffing; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members; as well as her good friends, Becky Wilson, Sherry Euton, and Terry Crosier.

Anita worked as the Executive Director for the Canter's Cave 4-H Camp in Jackson, Ohio for over 20 years. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, and shooting. But most of all, she loved getting to spoil her granddaughter.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the Haller Funeral Home. In keeping with her wishes, cremation services will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her honor can be made to the Friends of Ohio 4-H Shooting Sports, 230 Anderson Station Rd, Chillicothe, OH, 45601.
