Amanda Michelle "Mandy" Brown, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed from this life early Sunday morning, April 27, 2025 at the Embassy of Cambridge Nursing Facility, following an extended illness.
She was born on November 30, 1982, in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of Denise Foster, who survives. She grew up in a loving household with her two sisters, Charma Lea Brown, and Sarah M. Rossman, who also survive. Mandy went on to attend Unioto High School, where she had dreams of becoming a Marine Biologist upon graduation. But life had a different plan, and her beloved daughter, Alexis Mercedes Knight was born. Although Mandy's life was brief, she touched the lives of many who deeply cared about her and her wellbeing. In addition to her mother, sisters, and daughter, she is survived by her nephews, Carrick Brown and Blake Rossman; her papa, Charles Wiley; her grammy, Betty Wiley; uncle, William Foster, Jr.; close family friends, Chuck and Kathleen Sims; as well as numerous other extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, William Foster, and her grandmother, Gladys Foster Hardin, whom she missed to dearly.
Mandy loved spending time outdoors, and especially enjoyed her time with family and friends.
A memorial service for her family and friends is being planned by her mother Denise, and will be announced in the coming days.
