Allen Conley

Allen R. Conley, 59, of Chillicothe, passed from this life to his eternal life, 11:30 am, Saturday, November 1, 2008, in Grant Medical Center, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday in Lighthouse Baptist Church, Pastor Ryan Bevan and Rev. Daniel Romans officiating. Military graveside services conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard, will follow in Floral Hills Memory Garden. Friends may call 12-2 pm Tuesday at the church. He was born May 2, 1949 in Logan, WV to Albert and Ada K. Willingham Conley Sr. On March 25, 1989 he married Barbara Ann Romans, who survives. Also surviving is his daughter, Stacey (Keith Busch) Arthur, of Indianapolis, IN; two granddaughters, Kasey Arthur and Michaela Busch; sisters, Edith (Willie) Frye, of Harts, WV, Norma (Ray) Thacker, of Thacker, KY, and Rosemary (Gene) Wiley, of Gallagher, WV; brothers, Chester (Julie) and Howard (Rita) Conley, all of Peru, IN, and Albert (Judy) Conley Jr., of Logan, WV; and a very special friend, Bettie McCracken. Mr. Conley was a former coal miner. He was a US Army Viet Nam Veteran and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and a former member of Sunbeam Chapel, Sunbeam, WV.
