Alice Eldridge-Mccain

Alice M. Eldridge-McCain Alice Mary Eldridge-McCain died suddenly in her home Wednesday, November 16, 2005. Alice was born July 5, 1946 in Syracuse, NY. Her family moved to Youngstown, OH where she attended Struthers High School and Youngstown State University. She married William E. McCain May 21, 1989 and moved with him to Chillicothe in 2002. Alice was a Navy veteran serving as a corpsman at the Philadelphia Naval Hospital. She received an Associates degree in Humanities from Onondaga Community College and a Bachelors degree from Youngstown State University. Alice loved gardening and was an avid genealogist. Alice is survived by her husband, two aunts and one uncle in the Syracuse, NY area and several cousins. Gifts in her memory can be made to the Scioto Paint Valley Mental Health Center or the Ross County Animal Shelter/Humane Society. A memorial service will be held in her home at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Haller Funeral Home.
