Alice Brown

Alice M. (Thorton) Brown, 66, of Chillicothe, passed away at 12:30pm Thursday, April 21, 2011. She was born February 20, 1945, in Chillicothe, to the late Hattie Winfield Thorton. On September 26, 1970, she married Charles F. Brown, who survives. Also surviving are her son and daughter-in-law Clark (Karen) Lee; step-son Christopher Cousins, all of Chillicothe; granddaughters Megan Lee, Monique Lee, Jennifer Cousins, Champagne Cousins, Shania Cousins; a grandson Chris Cousins, Jr.; several great-grandchildren; a brother Michael Thorton, Columbus, OH; an aunt, Ruby Wallace, Columbus; several cousins and many close friends, who are too many to name. She was predeceased by her mother, Hattie Gibbs and her step-father Clarkson Gibbs. Alice retired from the Kenworth Truck Co. and loved all sports. Graveside services will be held at 10:00am Thursday, April 28, in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8pm at the Haller Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Adena Health Foundation-Cancer Fund, 272 Hospital Rd., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
