Alexander Corey

Alexander Jay (AJ) Corey surrendered to join his Great-Grandma Brenda and Uncle Danny in the gates of Heaven, after a four year battle with cancer. AJ was a beautiful child who captivated everyone with his big blue eyes, long curly eyelashes, sweet smile and warm heart. His hugs and kisses were priceless. AJ loved monster trucks, four-wheelers, dirt bikes, trains and superheroes. He was determined to walk again so he could experience the rush of racing a dirt bike. AJ is survived by his mother Sasha Putnam (Billy Rogers) who sacrificed everything to ensure AJ received the utmost care 24/7, sister Bella Jo who kept him entertained, father Aaron Corey (Amanda Renner) who learned the true meaning of strength from his son, grandparents Kevin and Wendy Case who provided Sasha and AJ with a loving home and around the clock support, grandparents Mal and Jeanette Corey, grandfather Randy Putnam, aunts April (Mike Short) and Holly (Zach Stephenson) Putnam, cousin Raeley Love Stephenson who was his special girl, uncle Israel Putnam (Crystal Montgomery), uncles Josh (Stacey Jordan) and Dallas Tyler, uncles Adam (Erica Williamson) and Eli Corey, aunt Destiny Corey, and many other cousins. AJ's life will be celebrated with calling hours at the HALLER FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday from 5:00-8:00. His funeral will be held 11:00 Thursday at Haller's. Everyone is encouraged to dress up as superheroes because AJ would have enjoyed that. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made under the Team AJ account at LCNB. Sasha has also requested that those who wish to honor AJ may plant a tree in his memory wherever they wish for it to flourish.
