Agnes Watson

Agnes Elizabeth Watson, 70, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 8:55 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2010 at home with family and loved ones by her side following a brief illness. She was born December 8, 1939 in North Carolina to William C. & Gladys M. Shelton. She is survived by her children Teresa Lawless of Chillicothe, Robin (Rich) Ausec of Chillicothe, Ronald "Butch" Kight of Chillicothe, Mike (Melinda) Watson of Chillicothe, Samantha (Ty) Rapp of Chillicothe, brothers Bill (Sandy) Shelton of Jackson, Bob (Ann) Shelton of Oak Hill, Jack (Marcia) Shelton of Ocala, sisters Marie (Robert) Britt of Wellston, Lucille (Bob) Hamilton of Jackson, Georgia (Ron) Fields of Chillicothe, 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and her son J. Glenn Warnock. She enjoyed the company of her grandchildren, attending church services, gospel music, reading, and working puzzles. She will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her. The family would like to extend special thanks to Pastors: Dale Gilbert, Dan Oates, Larry Grant, Richard Shreiber, & Tom Kramer, Doctors: Myhand, Patel, & Naumovski and all the attentive care from the wonderful nurses at Adena Hospital, Union Township EMS, Life Med, special friend Tammy Ford, and all those who remembered Nanny and her family in their prayers. Funeral Services will be held at Faith Chapel in Pleasant Valley Friday Jan.29th at 1p.m. with Pastor Tom Kramer officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Chapel in Pleasant Valley or Serenity in Christian Union in Hillsboro.
