Adrian Scott

Adrian Lee Scott, 34, of Columbus, passed away at 1:20pm on Thursday, November 23, 2017, at Grant Medical Center. She was born January 15, 1983, in Chillicothe, Ohio to Richard C. Scott and Gabriel M. (Keel) Scott. In addition to her parents, Adrian is survived by her step-father, Michael A. Brown, of Chillicothe; her brother, James R. Scott, of FL; two step-brothers, Joseph R. Brown and Gregory P. Brown, both of TN; a step-sister, Leandra G. Brown, of GA: her three grandmothers, Kay F. Scott, Marjorie L. Keel, and Doralee Hairston, all of Chillicothe; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as a host of very special friends, including her companion Jared White and his son T.J. White. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Gilbert D. Keel and James A. Scott, Sr. Adrian was a graduate of Chillicothe High School and the Pickaway Ross Vocational School in 2001. She went on to graduate from Columbus State in 2003 with an associate's degree and she worked for the Columbus Arthritis Center. Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at the First Baptist Church, with Pastor Eric Carson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:00am Saturday until the time of the service. Adrian was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who had the chance to meet her. She was a kind, giving soul, and was able to give the ultimate gift upon her passing, the gift of life through organ donation.
