Abagail Malone, 85, of Chillicothe, died 7:00 pm, January 18, 2023, following a brief illness.
She was born December 14, 1937 to the late Samuel and Susie Coon. On May 1, 1967 she married Luther G. Malone, who died August 1, 2016. Survivors include 5 children, Rebecca (Henry) Woltz, Johnny Hughes, Ricky (Autumn) Hughes, Melissa Bushatz, and Luther (Patty) II; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; a brother, John (Nancy) Hughes; and a sister, Laurie Bell Truex. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 2 daughters, Mary Carroll and Tammy Malone; a grandson, Ricky Rapp; a great-grandson, Brant Rapp; 3 sons-in-law, and two brothers, Joseph Coon and infant John Henry.
Mrs. Malone loved spending time with family, and going out to eat. She was a member of Landmark Christian Church and formerly attended Jefferson Ave. CCCU.
Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held 2:30 pm Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Kingdom Hearts Church, 375 S. Watt St., Chillicothe, with Pastor Bud Faulkner officiating.
