Arie Louise Leach, 99, of Chillicothe, died Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Signature Healthcare-Chillicothe following an extended illness.
She was born July 4, 1919, in Pickaway Co., to the late Willis and Myrtle (Weese) Lockard. On September 9, 1978, she married Harold A. Leach, who preceded her in death March 29, 1997. Survivors include her nieces and nephews; her neighbor and caregiver James Vititoe; close friends, James and Heidi; as well as her dog Rascal. In addition to her parents and son, she was preceded in death by her son, Larry A. Watts and three brothers, Harold, John, and Ray Lockard.
Mrs. Leach retired as a presser from Lang's Dry Cleaning in 1999 after 26 years of service. In her free time she enjoyed collecting stuffed animals and working in her flower garden.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Chillicothe. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation.
