A. Horsley

Arnold Ray Horsley, 87, of Chillicothe, passed in peace, at his home, surrounded with family on Tuesday October 12, 2021.

Ray was born in Lawarence Co. OH to Teddy and Margaret.  Ray was a loving, caring, family man. He had a passion for old cars, enjoyed attending and showing cars at shows. He found pleasure working around his home, and spending time with his family. He spent many years as an active member of the West Side Church of Nazarene, retired from Chilpaco, and served in the US Army.  Ray was known for his great sense of humor, his kindness, and overwhelming love for his family.  Ray was proceeded in death by his parents; a sister, Verta; two brothers, Jimmy and Donnie; and one grandchild, Stephanie.

Ray is survived by his wife and best friend of 67 years, Betty; his sister Teresa (Dick); their three children, Tim (Debbie) Horsley, Jody (Jim) Collins, Tony (Karen) Horsley; grandchildren, Devon (Corey) Collins, Ryan (Angie) Horsley, Kenneth Horsley, Justin Horsley, Toni (Jacob) Rooker, Kylee (Thomas) Jackson, Ashley(Corey) Blankenship, great-grandchildren, Savannah, Nathan, Malachi, Eli, Ava, Liliana, Alana, Elizabeth, Parker, Zaida, Makenna, and Vera; and many other extended family members.

Betty and the family extend a special thank you to the National Church Residence Hospice care and care givers Dorthy, Jodi, and Tangie.

Graveside services will be held 12:30 pm Tuesday in Little Mound Cemetery, Pastor Jeremy Schinkle officiating.  Calling hours will not be observed.  His online memorial register is available at www.HallerFuneralHome.com.
