Theresa Mae Zimmerman, 78, of Chillicothe, died at 10:36am, Monday May 21, 2012, at Baylor Medical Center, Garland, TX.

She was born September 6, 1933, in Ross County to the late Rev. Wayne M., Sr. and Vivian Iona (Peale) Bunch. On October 10, 1970, she married Charles F. Zimmerman, who preceded her in death on June 23, 1999.

She is survived by her son Bart Jordan and his special friend Nancy Bell, Chillicothe; grandchildren: Christopher Jordan, of Dallas, TX; Tiffiney (Everett) Burns, Chillicothe; great-grandchildren: Jada Jordan, Jael Jordan, Taysia Yusuf, Aden Yusuf, and Aniyah Burns, all of Chillicothe; 3 sisters: Louise Booker, Baltimore, MD; Jeanine Hansberry and Glenna (James) Dyer, all of Chillicothe; a brother-in-law Wetus Netter; sisters-in-law Irene Tanner and Naomi Bunch; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Joseph, Harvey, Wayne, Jr., and Eddie Bunch; and a sister Esther Netter.

Mrs. Zimmerman was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher and Superintendant. She retired from the Veteran Affairs Medical Center where she worked as a physical therapist assistant.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, May 29, at the Church of Deliverance, 393 N. High St., Chillicothe. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 11am until 1pm at the church.
