Carol Sue Cutright, 75, of Chillicothe, died at 2:30pm Sunday, April 29, 2012, in her home surrounded by family following an extended illness.

She was born December 28, 1936, in Chillicothe, to the late Carl E. and Margaret Elizabeth (Bennett) Magill. On October 9, 1953, she married John C. Cutright, Jr., who survives.

Also surviving are their children Keith (Louwanna) Cutright, Chillicothe; Kim (Donald R.) Rogers, Marysville; John “Jay” Cutright III, Chillicothe; Susan (Dale Enochs) Osman, Ona, WV; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a brother Michael A. (Judy) Magill, Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Patty Magill; many friends including special friends Brandee Haddox; Buffy Howard; Amy Riggin; Amy Beavers; and Patsy Bost; and her special pets “Mommy,” “Lilly,” “Blaze,” “Big Boy,” her cats. She was predeceased by a brother Jonathan “Andy” Magill.

Carol Sue had attended Mt. Tabor Church. She was a graduate of Huntington High School, Class of 1954. She loved to travel, was an avid seamstress, and she loved floral gardening and doll collecting.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, May 2, at the Haller Funeral Home with Chaplain Billy Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Huntington Memorial Cemetery. At her request, calling hours will not be observed.
