Kenneth R. Plowman, 24, of Kingston, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at the Ohio State University Medical Center following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born August 22, 1987, in Jacksonville, NC, to John Kenneth and Pamela J. Plowman.
Surviving are his father and step-mother John (Angela) Plowman, Kingston; his mother Pamela J. McMurray, and her companion William James, Kingston; his paternal grandmother Nancy Miller, Kingston; maternal grandmother Rosalie Soummers, Chillicothe; maternal grandfather John T. McMurray; sisters Faith Enderle, Los Angeles, CA; Delilah Nichols, Lehigh Acres, FL; step-brothers Kyle Davy and Brett James, both of Kingston; step-sisters Emily Davy and Elizabeth Davy, both of Columbus; and Allison James, Kingston; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Kenneth A. Plowman; and his paternal step-grandfather Roy H. Miller.
Ken was 2006 graduate of the Pickaway Ross Career and Technology Center and Zane Trace High School. He was an avid car enthusiast as well as anything else with wheels: trucks, bikes, and of late, autocross racing. He also enjoyed target shooting. Ken especially enjoyed working on cars and attending cruise-fests with his dad. His personality was such that he never knew a stranger. He made friends easily and will be greatly missed. Ken worked for TSG in Columbus as an electrical contractor and was a member of their Union, Local 683.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm Sunday, March 11, at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Hines officiating. Friends may call from 1-4pm Sunday at Haller’s. Immediately following the 4pm service, family and friends are invited to the Ross Co. Senior Citizens Center for fellowship and refreshment.
