T
he Haller Funeral Home was established in 1971 by Benney and Margaret "Peg" Haller. They purchased the former Heiby Memorial Home on South Paint Street. It was a beautiful historic home built in 1863. Benney and Peg raised their four children in the living quarters above the business.
Due to continued growth of the business and a strong desire to better serve the community, Benney and Peg built what is now the current site of Haller Funeral Home.
Ben and Peg are pleased to be working with their two sons, who are both licensed funeral directors and embalmers.
The company has received numerous awards for excellence in service over the years, including the US Small Business Administration's Administrator's Award for Excellence. This honor was presented to the family in Washington DC.
The Haller family is proud to be able to offer the families they serve a facility that boasts nearly 7000 sq. ft., all on one level, with over 140 parking spaces surrounding the facility. The interior of the building is trimmed in native Ross Co. walnut, oak, and maple and decorated with works of art created by local artists.
This exceptional facility is one way the Haller family is able to give back to the community that has supported them so graciously over the past 40 years.
Please feel free to stop by for a tour.
